    About Our Farm

    A Message from Becky

To every family, caregiver, and heart that finds its way here —

Before I was a farmer, I was a nurse. I spent years caring for patients in clinical settings — watching families navigate impossibly hard days with extraordinary grace. But no amount of clinical training prepared me for what it would feel like to raise our own children and realize that two of them were autistic.

For a long time, I looked for places where our family could simply breathe — somewhere unhurried, gentle, and free from the noise of a world that doesn't always accommodate the way our kids experience it. Safe spaces that didn't require us to apologize or explain. We found hints of that on farms. There is something about a miniature animal — patient, curious, fully present — that meets a child exactly where they are.

So we built one. My husband and I turned four acres in New Castle, Indiana into the place we'd always been searching for. Holiday Miniature Farm wasn't born from a business plan. It was born from a need — from our family's need, and from the knowledge that hundreds of other families felt the same way. Autism families. Therapy professionals. Caregivers who are tired and still showing up. Curious kids who just need a different kind of day.

Whatever brought you here — I'm glad you're here. This farm belongs to all of you as much as it belongs to us. There is always something healing waiting in the pasture.

"Two of our children are autistic. That's not a footnote to this farm's story — it's the reason it exists."

    Our Story

Holiday Miniature Farm began as a dream — a simple love for miniature animals and wide-open spaces. Nestled on 4 peaceful acres, our hobby farm grew from a personal passion into a community treasure.

What started with a few miniature Highland cows and goats quickly expanded into a haven of healing, joy, and connection. We believe that spending time with gentle, curious miniature animals has a profound effect on the human spirit — and we've watched it happen time and time again.

Children with autism finding calm. Seniors rediscovering wonder. Families creating memories that last a lifetime. This is why we do what we do.

"Where small animals make the biggest difference."

    Connection

We believe in the healing power of human-animal connection. Every visit is a chance to slow down, breathe, and truly connect.

    Joy

Our miniature animals bring pure, unfiltered joy. Their playful personalities and gentle nature make every visit unforgettable.

    Healing

From autism therapy to senior wellness, the therapeutic benefits of miniature animals are real, documented, and deeply felt.

"Our farm is open to everyone — families, schools, nursing homes, therapy programs, and anyone who needs a peaceful escape."
